Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat has pinpointed four players from the Namibia team who may pose a threat to Kenya when the two sides meet later this evening in South Africa.Namibia will host Kenya in matchday two of Group J’s 2025 AFCON qualifiers, which will be held in Morocco.##NAJAVA_MECA_8326693##After their goalless draw with Zimbabwe on Friday, 6th September, Kenya will be keen to secure maximum points on the road but must also contain the Brave Warriors’ key danger men, as highlighted by Firat.“They have very dangerous players like Peter Shalulile, Deon Hotto, and Aprocius Petrus. They have a lot of good players, and Prins Tjiueza is also good,” said Firat.Shalulile, Namibia’s captain and striker, plays for South African side Mamelodi Sundowns. Petrus, on the other hand, plays for Cape Town City and will be tasked with controlling the midfield.Twenty-two-year-old Tjiueza, also of Cape Town City, will be expected to run the flanks, while Hotto of Orlando Pirates, playing in his club’s home stadium, will pose a similar threat on the opposite wing.Firat also highlighted the general strengths of the Brave Warriors. “They haven’t changed their playing style. It’s very clear, and everybody in Africa knows how they play. They are very disciplined, starting from the back and playing a high-transition game,” he said.Namibia coach highlights Harambee Stars strengths ahead of AFCON qualifierThe Turkish tactician praised the Orlando Stadium, which will host the match, but expressed his wish for a full house this evening. “It is a good stadium. I wish it would be full for a better atmosphere. We know how Namibia plays, and historically, Kenya has always lost away to Namibia. But we are very hopeful of a positive result.”Additionally, the 54-year-old lamented the long injury list he is dealing with ahead of the match. “It will be a tough match, especially for us, because we lost nine players, mostly due to injuries, and we need to find some solutions for the team. We are missing many players, especially offensive ones, and our captain, Michael Olunga, who is very important for us. But we need to find solutions for the match,” he added. When asked whether the cold weather in South Africa might affect his players, Firat responded, “We will have to adapt and be ready. It’s surprising for me, especially coming from Turkey, where it is still around 38 degrees.”Probable Harambee Stars’ lineup against Namibia
