Kenya U20 assistant coach Anthony Akhulia says the Rising Stars are raring to write history by becoming the second Kenyan football team to qualify for the FIFA World Cup.The Kenya U17 girls will forever be remembered as the first Kenyan football team to seal a place in the FIFA World Cup after punching a ticket, back in June, to the finals set for next month in the Dominican Republic. With Rising Stars gearing up for the AFCON U-20 qualifiers set for Sunday 6 to Sunday 20 October, Akhulia says the ultimate goal is to become the first male football team to play in the World Cup. ##NAJAVA_MECA_NaN##Stars are in Group A of the qualifiers alongside; hosts Tanzania, Rwanda, Sudan and Djibouti and will need to reach the final to book a place in the continental showpiece. Thereafter the team will have to reach the semis of the Africa Cup of Nations to secure a ticket to the World Cup which Akhulia believes is well within their reach.
