Tanzania U-20 national team head coach Boniface Mkwasa has shared details that made his side struggle to keep up with their Kenyan counterparts in their first AFCON U-20 qualifier match played at the KMC stadium.Rising Stars of Kenya won the match 2-1 courtesy of goals from Kevin Wangaya and Andreas Odhiambo in the 23rd and 66th minute respectively while the hosts pulled one back through Rahim Shomare in the 76th minute.The Ngorongoro Boys of Tanzania struggled to keep up with the Rising Stars for the better part of the game, especially in the first half, and did not see much of the ball.FKF president Nick Mwendwa eyes controversial third term in officeThings got better for the host in the second half when they opted for long balls and direct play, with Rising Stars’ coach Salim Babu acknowledging his side was unable to contain Tanzania in that aspect.It is while addressing the media after the match on how he prepares to bounce back against Djibouti that coach Mkwasa explained the loss to Kenya.“We will approach the match against Djibouti the same way but we hope we shall have shaken off the doubt and fear that we had today since most of our players are playing in such a stage for the first time.
