Mathare United have bagged the first win in the 2024-2025 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season after edging Bidco United 1-0 on Friday at Dandora Stadium.Mathare, who returned to the top tier in June after spending a season in the National Super League, needed a first-half goal by Christopher Koloti to end the wait for the first win of the campaign. Bidco opened the campaign with a 1-1draw against Shabana and would settle for a similar scoreline in the subsequent duel against Nairobi City Stars. The team lost 1-0 to AFC Leopards in round three before conceding late to settle for a one-all draw against FC Talanta.
