Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links has longest odds to win TGL according to one bookmaker

Early odds are out for the inaugural season of the TGL and the league’s founders — Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy — are at opposite ends of the betting lines.

Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf is the early favorite to win the SoFi Cup at +350, or a 22.2 percent chance to win the title.

At the bottom, 15-time major champion Tiger Woods, whose Jupiter Links Golf Club is +600, 14.3 percent chance, to win the championship, according to Caesars Sportsbook.

A $100 dollar wager on Boston Common pays $350 if it captures the title. The same bet on Jupiter Links earns $600.

The league, owned by TMRW Sports, consists of six four-man teams. Each team plays five matches with the top four advancing to the playoffs. The finals is a best-of-three starting March 24.

The winner is awarded the SoFi Cup.

Favorite Boston Common has 4 golfers in world top 20

Boston Common is the only team with four players in the current top 20 of the World Golf Ranking. McIlroy is No. 3; Hideki Matsuyama is 7th, Keegan Bradley is 12th and Adam Scott is No. 19.

Woods’ world ranking has plummeted to 1,060 with the 48-year-old playing a limited schedule because of injuries and his 2021 auto accident. He also has No. 830 Kevin Kisner and two golfers in the top 30, Tom Kim (25) and Max Homa (30).

Los Angeles Golf and New York Golf Club have the second best odds at +400.

L.A. has two top 10 golfers, No. 4 Colin Morikawa and No. 10 Tommy Fleewood along with No. 13 Sahith Theegala and No. 41 Justin Rose.

New York is led by world No. 2 Xander Schauffele and includes No. 32 Cameron Young, No. 36 Matt Fitzpatrick and No. 66 Rickie Fowler.

The Bay Golf Club led by world No. 5 Ludvig Aberg and No. 6 Wyndham Clark and including Jupiter’s Shane Lowry (No. 28) and Min Woo Lee (No. 44) is +450 to win the title.

Atlanta Drive is +475 with 11th-ranked Patrick Cantlay, No. 17 Billy Horschel, No. 24 Justin Thomas and No. 47 Lucas Glover.
