New FKF boss warned against pettiness and dismissing dissenting voices

Kenya Footballers Welfare Association (KEFWA) President James Situma has advised the newly-elected Football Kenya Federation regime to avoid pettiness and accommodate dissenting voices and opinions. Football delegates settled on Hussein Mohammed as the new FKF president during the national elections held on Saturday at the Kasarani Indoor Arena. Hussein was elected into office alongside five new National Executive Committee (NEC) members and a Women Representative. Three NEC members retained their seats. Situma, who was among the 90 delegates who took part in the exercise, did not mince his words when asked on what the new regime should avoid upon assuming office. The former Tusker defender warned Hussein, and his team, against sidelining those who did not cast votes in favour of Team Fresh and stakeholders with a different opinion. ##NAJAVA_MECA_8559436##Situma, urged Hussein to firmly embrace inclusivity and to steer clear of minor issues that could distract him, and his team, from delivering on his mandate. “They should pettiness by all means possible.
