No Ballon d’Or? Here is another reward for you

The most prestigious award in the world of football, the famous Ballon d’Or came and went and the dust has settled. Manchester City’s Rodri got the award even thou all signs pointed at Vinicius Jr. The Brazilian was so sure he would get the reward that he organized the party, bought watches for his teammates and then reacted like a spoiled brat when other player took the stage and collected the trophy. The great Real Madrid also failed to show its greatness and boycotted the ceremony, while accusing UEFA of the whole situation. But, the Brazilian finally got a reward, the first one after Ballon d’Or ceremony. What’s behind Man City’s unprecedented crisis? Richarlison’s curse! The famous Madrid based Spanish newspapers Marca announced that Vinicius Jr. is the winner of ’MARCA’s 100’, the list that selects the 100 best players of the season in a ranking after the vote of 122 journalists from around the world, former players and former coaches. These journalists are probably not from some countries which Real president Florentino Perez doesn’t appreciate (like Uganda, Namibia, Albania, and Finland) and they gave 5,473 points to the Real winger, while the second place went to Vinicius’ teammate Jude Bellingham (5,164) while Rodri (4,802) ended up in the third place.Namibian journalist hammers arrogant Florentino Perez in spectacular fashionThe reasons of the journalists who voted for Vinicius was simple – he had a fantastic season behind him. He won the League and Champions League, and was the best player in both competitions. The Brazilian scored 24 goals and provided 11 assists in the 39 games he played with the Real Madrid shirt, putting in one of the best performances ever remembered in the history of the Champions League, being decisive in each and every round. The Real Madrid number 7 scored the key goal against Leipzig in the round of 16, gave two assists against City in the quarter-finals, scored two against Bayern in the semi-finals and also scored a goal in the final. A superlative Champions League to give Real Madrid its fifteenth European Cup.
