Fabregas giving Alli another chance

Como football club has been a revelation in Serie A, but not due to their fantastic performances in the Italian top-flight (at least not yet), but rather due to their ownership, coach and some players. Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas arrived in August 2022 as a minority stakeholder, while also playing for the club as a player. Soon, another minority stakeholder arrived, and it was no other than Thierry Henry. Fabregas later became a coach and guided Como back to Serie A after 21 years. He also ensembled quite an interesting team which consisted of a multiple Champions League winner Raphael Varane (retired in the meantime), Pepe Reina, Sergi Roberto and Andrea Belotti (among others) but another former football star could soon join them. That’s the spirit! Dele reveals he has a daily reminder to keep working for the 2026 FIFA World CupComo are fighting for survival and have been without a victory since 29th of September (3-2 against Verona). But after nine straight games, they finally defeated poor Roma (2-0) and there was a guy there in the stands, with a hat and hoody. But since his career went downwards a few years ago, maybe the home crowd wouldn’t recognize him even without the hat. But photo reporters did and took a picture of Dele Alli. The former England international has been without a club since his contract with Everton expired in June, but he could get his chance with Como.“I met him yesterday. There is a chance that he can train with us. I don’t want to talk too much about it today. It would be after Christmas, so that he can regain some form” Fabregas told DAZN after the Roma game. This Serie A side could be Dele Alli’s last chance for resurrectionStill only 28 years of age, Alli was a great midfielder in his time, and a regular England international. He won back-to-back PFA Young Player of the Year awards during 2016-17 with Tottenham, as well as winning 37 caps for England. But his quick and unexplained fall began in 2021, when he fell out of favor with Jose Mourinho. His last competitive game was in February 2023 while playing on loan at Besiktas from Everton. He spent six weeks in rehab last year as he dealt with various childhood traumas, and maybe he will revive his career in the tranquility of lace Como, with the help from fellow midfielder Fabregas.##NAJAVA_MECA_8572245##
