Latest update on Kasarani, Nyayo Stadia offer hope 12 days to CAF deadline [PHOTOS]

The renovation works at Kasarani and Nyayo Stadia are in top gear even as only 12 days remain before the 31 December deadline set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) elapses.The two facilities have been closed for the better part of the year; Kasarani for the whole year and Nyayo from August in a bid to ready them for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) set to begin on Saturday 1 February 2025.Harambee Stars remain stagnant in latest FIFA world rankingsSports Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen shared the latest photos of the state of the two facilities alongside the Kasarani Annex during his inspection tour on Thursday 19 December 2024.According to the photos shared by the CS, works at the changing room in Kasarani look complete and ready for use while the playing ground looks to be almost ready for the continental tourney.##NAJAVA_MECA_8579481##However, work in the sitting areas looks to be far from complete even though the installation of seats has already begun according to the photos.The installation of a new canopy which was one of the requirements by CAF has also begun even though it seems to be at the early stages.
