The FKF Premier League has entered its second half after a successful first leg.In the first leg, the league saw a number of young/new players make their top flight debut with some of them making an immediate impact.The pace and demands of Kenyan top flight may seem difficult for many players who would take a little more time to settle and find their footing while for some, they hit the ground running and immediately announce their presence with their performances.Mozzart Sport samples some of the 10 young/new players who impressed in the first leg of what is their Premier League debut season.Muluya heaps praise on Kenya U20 midfielder for huge role at Kariobangi SharksRyan Wesley Ogam – Tusker FC.Ryan Wesley Ogam is undoubtedly the first in the mind of anyone who has followed the FKF Premier League this season.Ogam joined Tusker at the start of the current season from defunct Rainbow FC and had a dream start to the season. The midfielder who was linked to a move to Gor Mahia in the off-season has also scored two goals this season.Viborg rejects bid for 174 million-valued Harambee Stars defenderJoseph Okwenda – Mara Sugar.Joseph Okwenda has stood tall at the heart of Mara Sugar’s defense this season and has marshalled the defense quite well despite being in his first FKF Premier League season.The defender has attracted the attention of several league clubs who have been eying his signature and while he might consider a move at the end of the season, his immediate task is to ensure Mara Sugar retain the top flight status.##NAJAVA_MECA_8666808##Brian Kafero – Ulinzi Stars.Thes start of the season saw an exodus of experienced players from Ulinzi Stars which forced coach Danstun Nyaudo to sign several young players mostly drawn from the military teams.One of them was Brian Kafero who had worked with Nyaudo before at the youth structures. The youngster announced his arrival in the league with a goal on his debut against Tusker FC and has been impressive in an otherwise disappointing season for Ulinzi Stars.Paul Jawa – Kariobangi Sharks.Inside Kasarani Stadium’s 5 changing rooms, doping room and kitchen [VIDEO]Paul Jawa is yet another player who joined the FKF Premier League from Rainbow FC.The speedy right-footed winger has been impressive on the left flank for Kariobangi Sharks cutting in to either put in a decisive pass or taking a shot at goal.The South Sudanese seem to have already got his reward as he has left the William Muluya-coached side for French side FC Fleury 91.Harrison Lutta – Mathare United.##NAJAVA_MECA_8666810##The former Soy United Midfielder had to wait until the eighth match of the season to make his FKF Premier League debut which came against Posta Rangers in November.Lutta who turned out for Police FC in the NSL league has since been producing good performances for The Slum Boys as they strive to maintain their league status.
