According to a report tabled in Parliament by the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Defense, who are co-supervising the project, the construction is currently 37% complete.Photos shared by the President on his social media platforms show that the stadium is steadily taking shape, with the structures of the three-tier facility coming up well.The contractor also revealed plans to install a solar power system in parts of the stadium to meet the high electricity demands and provide a sustainable energy alternative.During the visit, the President was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Sports and the Creative Economy, Salim Mvurya, Sports PS Elijah Mwangi, and PS for Defense, Patrick Mariru, among others.
