During his post-match press conference, Odhiambo said that the pressure is part of the job.“Pressure is there daily even when you win. If you do not have pressure then you are not a good coach. If you are winning, you have the pressure to win everything in front of you. If you are losing, you have to feel the pressure of losing,” said Odhiambo.Bandari coach given one more game to save jobOdhiambo, who rejoined Bandari in July 2024, attributed his side’s loss to Homeboyz to wastefulness in front of goal and poor display from his team.“If there is a game that we have played poorly, it is against Homeboyz. If there is a game where we had so many chances, then it is this because we failed to score into an empty net twice. What is the coach supposed to teach you? Should the coach teach you how to score? I could even score that myself. These are some of the things that I have been saying about being clinical,” he added.Harambee Stars defender opens up on what inspired his switch from rugby to footballAdditionally, Odhiambo blamed his side’s sloppy defense for Moses Shummah’s 74th minute winner.“We lost at home from a goal that was not even a chance. It is now all about awareness. Defender should know where the ball and the opponent are. The defender ought to have played the ball out to safety, it was not even dangerous. There are things that you cannot even explain how they are happening,” he explained.
