Just days after hosting the 2021 Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club north of Los Angeles, Tiger Woods was injured in a single-car accident and needed to be pulled from his vehicle by the Jaws of Life on Tuesday morning.
“Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries,” said his agent, Mark Steinberg, via a statement. “He is currently in surgery and we thank you for your privacy and support.”
The news led to an outpouring of support for the 82-time winner on the PGA Tour, who has been recovering from a fifth back surgery.
