The saying ‘sharing is caring’ resonated deeply with players from the Kisii-based Tabaka Centre FC and the Kibabii Boys’ High School’s football team as their former player, Isaac Omweri, cashed in his Mozzart Bet Cup Humanitarian Cheque and donated sporting materials worth Ksh100,000 on Tuesday.Follow our WhatsApp channel for more newsWhile all the past winners of the cheque, since its inception in 2023, have been donating to a single entity, Omweri took a different path by distributing the materials equally between the two teams. ##NAJAVA_MECA_8939875##The Nairobi United midfielder made his first stop at Tabaka Centre, where he handed his boyhood club footballs, uniforms, boots, space markers, and corner flags, among others. He also extended the favour to the Kibabii team in a gesture that will certainly come in handy in the Term 2 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Games. My gratitude goes to Mozzart Bet for this initiative, which has been making an impact in society in the last two seasons,” he said in an interview with Mozzart Sport.Omweri landed the cheque following his Man of the Match performance in the quarterfinal of the Mozzart Bet Cup against the 2023 champions Kakamega Homeboyz.
