Kenya midfielder set to leave Zambian club

Kenya U23 midfielder Teddy Osok is set to part ways with the Zambian side, Kitwe United following the team’s relegation from the ZSL, Mozzart Sport can exclusively report.Osok joined Kitwe United last October after parting ways with Wazito FC and penned a season-long deal with Kitwe who had a torrid season before they got relegated to the second tier. The club is reportedly keen on shelving their foreign legion and even so, Osok is said to have decided that he will exit way before.Reached for a comment, the player admitted that he would be returning home after the final match of the season against Power Dynamos on Sunday 27th June. He was however coy about his future at the club.“My contract is ending and after the final game, I will return home. I do not want to talk about my future right now, it has been a long season and I will be taking a rest before deciding what next,” he told Mozzart.Kenya U23 midfielder Teddy Osok is reportedly in Zambia for talks with a ZSL side. pic.twitter.com/Z2mjVJQ5At— Ole Teya (@Kevin_teya) September 20, 2020 Kitwe has had a torrid season winning just three league matches out of the possible 33. He went on to play for Nairobi Stima, Gor Mahia senior team, KCB, Sofapaka, and Wazito FC before venturing outside the borders. He is a full Kenya U23 international.Elsewhere Napsa Stars got relegated from the ZSL last Sunday after losing 1-0 to Nkwazi.
