Injury boost for Sharks as Sakari returns

Kariobangi Sharks have been handed a shot in the arm as right back Daniel Sakari is expected to resume training this week ahead of their weekend clash against Posta Rangers.The full-back was initially ruled out for two weeks on the eve of the resumption of sporting activities back in May after picking a knock on his right ankle while in training, consequently missing the first two games against his former employers Kakamega Homeboyz then Ulinzi Stars.🚫| INJURY UPDATE Dan Sakari is set to miss the clash against his former employers due to injury.Budding central defender Tom Teka will also miss tomorrow’s fixture owing to injury.#WeAreSharks #BetwayKenya pic.twitter.com/SmkLktgCvH— Kariobangi Sharks FC (@k_sharksfc) May 13, 2021 The player then managed to get five consecutive games both in the league and cup where he helped his side get to the quarter finals before he suffered another injury setback that has ruled him out of action since 20th June.Speaking to Mozzart Sport, the player revealed that the setback is however a thing of the past as he anticipates to get back on the pitch“Unfortunately I picked up another setback on the same injury problem and I could not play. In the first two games that the 2018-2019 new young player of the season second-runners up was sidelined, Muluya threw in national U20 right back Frederick Alushula in the deep end against Homeboyz and turned to the experienced Eric Juma against Ulinzi Stars.Ibrahim Ochieng’ was started in the team’s last league fixture that ended in a 2-2 draw against his former side Western Stima.Sharks take on Posta Rangers in their next clash taking place on Saturday, 10th July.
