Former Harambee Stars coach Sebastien Migne is the new coach of South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) side, Marumo Gallants. Migne takes over from former Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr who failed to reach an agreement with the management.Migne, who is best remembered for guiding Kenya to the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt where Harambee Stars exited in the group stage after winning one and losing two of their three group stage games. He has been without a coaching job since 2020 when he left his position as the head coach of the Equatorial Guinea national team. He will be assisted by Jean Luscioto.”Marumo Gallants FC are happy to announce the appointment of its new coach, Sebastien Bernard Henri Clement Migne. The 48-year-old French national had a stint as a coach for Equatorial Guinea and the Kenyan national team respectively. He also worked as a manager for the Republic of Congo’s national team,” the club said in a statement on Thursday morning. “Migne, arrived in Polokwane along with new Belgian assistant coach Jean-Francois Losciuto. The 49-year-old, Losciuto has worked in various African countries, including Equatorial Guinea [Future Kings and Egypt [Tala ea El Geish Sporting Club]. He also coached Black Leopards and Richards Bay FC in South Africa. They are currently under new management after they were acquired by a pharmaceuticals consortium in December 2020 that thereafter initiated the process of remaining the Limpopo-based team.The tactician joins a team with challenges, reports in South Africa indicate that some players are yet to report back for pre-season and the confusion surrounding the team could have far-reaching implications in their performance during the 2021/22 season.
