Tusker skipper Sempala walks out of the club

Tusker FC captain Hashim Sempala has left the club upon the expiry of his contract, the Ruaraka based side has announced.Sempala, who is on his second spell with the Brewers said his final goodbyes to his teammates on Tuesday morning before finally leaving the league leaders.Tusker FC chairman David Aduda praised Sempala and revealed that the midfielder requested that they let him leave when his contract expires.“We want to thank Hashim for his services and what he has offered to the club. He starred for us as we won the double double in 2016 and we have many other fond memories of his time with us. We wish him all the best in his career and his endeavours as well,” he added.Sempala first joined Tusker in June 2016 from Bidco Uganda Limited Football Club and was part of the team that won the 2016 league and FKF Cup double. In April 2019 he moved to Gor Mahia but his short stint at the club was largely unsuccessful and he returned to Tusker August 2019.Tusker is already in the process of recruiting new player and among those who could replace Sempala is AFC Leopards utility man, Clyde Senaji.
