Zico not letting his eyes off the FKFPL title

KCB FC head coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno is fixing his eyes on the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) title after going to within one point of leaders Tusker FC with six games left to play for both teams.KCB moved to 54 points after hammering Kariobangi Sharks 3-0 at Thika Stadium in their last outing, with the Brewers being out of action.Zico said that he was raring to get hold of the league title, a feat he has achieved on multiple occasions as a player as well as a coach for Gor Mahia.”I have won the Premier League title as a player, I have won it as a captain, and I recently won it as an assistant coach. So why not now win it as a head coach?” the tactician is quoted as saying by league’s sponsor. The results we are seeing in the pitch are not fluked and everyone can see what we are doing. We are almost achieving our targets. Our objective is to fight for the Premier League title,” Zico said.⚽️| Combative midfielder Michael Mutinda was full of praise for head coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno.”I can’t compare Zico with any other coach,” he said.Should the league resume, can @KCBFootball lift the title?🏆 https://t.co/cOZhXezwXo— Mozzart Sport Kenya (@MozzartSportKe) April 5, 2021 For the remaining six games, KCB will be hoping to replicate their form at the start of the season that saw them go on a six-game winning streak, beating Posta rangers, Nairobi City Stars, Kakamega Homeboyz, Bandari FC, Wazito FC, and league debutants Bidco United, while at the same time praying that Tusker FC lower their guard along the way.
