Anyembe joins Danish top-tier club

Kenyan defender Daniel Anyembe has found a new home in Denmark after making the switch from Esbjerg to Viborg FF, penning a four year deal that expires in the summer of 2025.The right back has played his entire career at Esbjerg, earning his first professional contract back in 2016 after featuring for the junior sides and made his debut in November that year in the Danish Cup.Following the move, Anyembe will now play in the Danish Super League with Viborg currently third in the top tier league having played in the First Division with Esbjerg following their relegation from the top tier back in 2020.🤝 Velkommen @DanielAnyembe 🟢⚪Forsvarsspilleren har skrevet kontrakt med VFF frem til sommeren 2025.Læs mere 👉 https://t.co/IlyroYSsvy#sldk pic.twitter.com/DBt0xpVxI6— Viborg FF ☘️ (@viborgff) July 17, 2021 Speaking to the club’s official portal, the 22-year-old was delighted to have put pen to paper with the development structures at the club making his decision to join the club a no brainer. “I’m really happy and excited to get started.
