New Gor Mahia head coach Mark Harrison has promised an exciting and entertaining brand of football after taking over at the record Kenyan champions. The British tactician, brought in to replace Manuel Vaz Pinto who ditched the club in July for an assistant job in his home country of Portugal, was handed a two-year contract and was officially unveiled by the club on Monday evening.Speaking during his unveiling, the coach outlined that his main priority will be focused on producing a type of football that will excite the loyal fan base of the club with the end product being a keen focus to extend the rich number of titles at the club.“I am after winning games and after winning trophies but I want to do it in style. I want to play an entertaining brand. Hopefully, when supporters get back to the stadium we can excite them with the way we play. I am certainly not a long ball merchant by any means, that is not my game. I like my players to play with flair, to feel free and to go out there and express themselves. I will give you everything I have got on the training field and on the field. I expect my players to do the same. I would never ask the players to do anything that I would not do and I am prepared to go a long way to get a win. So I would expect my players to do the same. My target and vision are no different to the football club. I want to win every game every time we take to the field. I want to win every trophy put in front of us and if it is possible we will do that. I am a winner and I expect the players to be winners and I think that goes hand in hand with the football club because you only need to look at the trophy cabinet to know that is what they are about.
