We missed around seven starters and we were forced to use fringe players, some who have never played before and they were a little rusty but I can’t complain much because they are our players and it is an opportunity for them to enjoy some play time and show us what they can do,” he added. He added that wastefulness played a part in the defeat to the Slum Boys, a result that eased Mathare’s drop fears. “It is a sad thing that we lost because we were in total control of the game and we also created the better chances which we failed to take. Mathare were just lucky because they made good use of the few chances that they got and they defended their advantage well to win this games. Losing is part of the game today we were not lucky and we now shift focus to our next game,” he concluded.
