Kenyan Internationals link up with new teams in Europe

Kenya International Johanna Omolo and his new club Kocaelispor have stepped up their preparations ahead of the new season that is set to kick off with an opening game agaisnt Ümraniyespor on Monday at 8:30 PM.Harambee Stars midfielder joined the second tier Turkish side on a one-year deal with an option of a further year after parting ways with relegated BB Erzurumspor, with the club making the announcement a week ago via their social media pages.The central midfielder had been in Kenya since he parted ways with another Turkish side, BB Erzurumspor following their relegation to the second tier at the end of last season. Shichenje pulled out of the Emerging Stars squad that did duty in the CECAFA tourney in Ethiopia to fly and finalize his deal with the Greek side and no more details about the move have emerged since he flew out.PAOK finished 4th in the Greek Super League last season behind winners Olympiakos Piraeus, second-placed Aris and AEK Athens who came third.The match kicks off at 8 PM.Experienced left-back Aboud Omar has also linked up with Greece second-tier side AE Larissa.
