Vihiga United stunned KCB at Kisumu, beating them 2-1 to halt their charge for the title while keeping their(Vihiga) dreams of playing in the top flight next season alive.Goals from Lawrence Luvanda and Stewart Omondi in the first half cancelled Samuel Mwangi’s opener and ensured that the Mike Mururi side bagged all three points.The win sees Vihiga move to 16th on the log with 23 points, one more than Western Stima and one less than Mathare United who play Bandari tomorrow, with Western Stima waiting for the next game week to try and catch up to reclaim their spot.More to follow…
