Indeche elated after maiden senior appearance

Ulinzi Stars utility man Quintine Indeche is over the moon after making his first senior appearance for Ulinzi Stars after coming on as a substitute in the 1-0 loss to Mathare United at Ruaraka Grounds in the midweek clash.Indeche came off the bench to replace John Njuguna in the 60th minute and went on to feature for 30 minutes, his maiden taste of senior football and the 2016 KPL U20 champion could not hide his joy, terming it a dream come true and a big step in his career.Since rejoining Ulinzi Stars in 2019, Indeche was yet to make an appearance for the Soldiers but the defender-cum-winger kept on putting the required effort in training.”It is something that I have been waiting for and I have been working hard to get but it had not come yet. It was a dream come true. I knew the more I keep on working hard a chance would come, the coach kept telling me the chance would come. I look forward to many more even though the first one came when the team was under pressure and chasing the game. The season has been difficult but we just met as a team and planned on what we needed to do to salvage our season in the second leg of the season. It was not the best season for us but we tried our best and the second leg was better than the first leg.
