Kariobangi Sharks boss William Muluya has admitted that a large number of players will be leaving the club after the conclusion of the 2020/21 season and the team is once again set to rebuild.Sharks have ended the season in the fifth position with 48 points. They were among the title contestants this campaign but a couple of rough patches saw them slip off in the title race, the title has eventually been won by Tusker FC.As the season comes to a close, a number of players have already walked out of the team. James Mazembe terminated his contract with the club and John Kuol has also exited, he is reportedly relocating to Australia. Daniel Sakari and Brian Bwire are heading to Tusker FC and according to the tactician, more players will leave the club in the coming days.”The truth is many players are leaving, a good number will not be with us next season. There are teams in the league that currently pay better and some of these players will be moving to such teams. Kapaito is yet to get an offer and if he gets one we let him go and we will try to get replacements. Apart from the five, there are other players who we let go and continue with their career progress elsewhere and that means we will go back and try to rebuild again. I am ready to go back to the drawing board and rebuild for the next two years to get another good team,” he added.Already Sharks have elevated some players from their youth team. They include Mathew Kibiwott, Geoffrey Onyango, Ian Omondi, Isaac Otieno, among others.
