Gor Mahia will sign three foreign strikers during the current off-season transfer window, coach Mark Harisson has disclosed.The team is currently readying itself for the 2021/22 season where they will be seeking to reclaim the league title and perform well in the CAF Confederation Cup. They are from DR Congo, Malawi and Nigeria.“I have identified three strikers from Nigeria, Malawi, and the DRC. Even before our last match against Nzoia Sugar, I didn’t know the whereabouts of Tito and Jules. The team will have new foreign strikers as I look to rebuild the squad and challenge for the league title.” Harisson told the Daily Nation.Locally the team is also closing in on several players. AFC Leopards defender is one of their targets and so is Kenyan International, Bernard Ochieng. They are also courting James Mazembe who recently left Kariobangi Sharks, Mathare’s Tyson Otieno ex Wazito left back Dennis Ng’ang’a among others.The team finished eighth in the just concluded troubled season and they will be seeking to challenge for the league title next season. The 2020/21 campaign starts at the end of September.
