Days after being released by league champions Tusker FC, Faraj Ominde and Chris Ochieng have joined Bandari FC for an undisclosed period of time, Mozzart Sport can reportThe pair was among the eleven players who were shown the door by the massively rebuilding league champions who are preparing for next season’s CAF Champions League and league title defence. The team has so far recruited close to 15 players.Faraj, a former Chemelil Sugar and a Kenya U23 midfielder is expected to beef up the midfield department for the Dockers who finished third in the FKF Premier League in the just-concluded season and are looking to contest for the league title next season under the leadership of Coach Andre Cassa Mbungo. Ominde joined Tusker in 2018 from the now-defunct Chemelil.Blackberry, Namanda among 11 dropped by TuskerChris, a former Mathare United forward joins the team’s attack and he’s expected to join the attack that boasts of players like Umaru Kasumba, Johanna Mwita, Yema Mwana, and William Wadri. There could be departures of one or two of the forwards currently with the team. Ochieng joined the Brewers in 2019 after parting ways with the Slum Boys.”The two are now our players.
