Homeboyz closing in on dropped Tusker pair

Luke Namanda and Eric Ambunya are set to rejoin Kakamega Homeboyz days after they were axed by Tusker FC, Mozzart Sport can reliably report.The two were among 11 players released by the massively recruiting Brewers and are now set to look for new clubs ahead of the 2021/22 campaign. They played a part in the team’s title triumph and Namanda’s departure for example came as a surprise to many.Homeboyz are now closing in on their former duo. Ambunya played for Homeboyz between 2016 and 2018 before moving to Tusker. Namanda on the other hand was with the Kakamega-based side, for a year before moving to Tusker in 2019. The Kakamega-based side changed coaches on Monday afternoon when Nicholas Muyoti announced that he would be leaving the club. His assistant Bernard Mwalala has since taken over as head coach.
