NSL: Sacco in fight to save dwindling fortunes

National Super League side Fortune Sacco will be looking to revive their fast fading promotion hopes when they travel to face Kisumu All Stars on Wednesday at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu.The Kerugoya based club was dealt a blow in their quest to earn elevation to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League after recording back to back barren draws against Kibera Black Stars and Murang’a Seal, a run which has seen them slump to fourth with 57 points.They hit the road to face another promotion seeking side in All Stars who are breathing behind their backs with 55 points. The former top flight side lost 2-0 to Kenya Police in their last game and will be looking to capitalize on home advantage and move to fourth. Kenya United at the Bukhungu Stadium. Bullets have scored seven goals in their last two outings and take on the former FKF PL side with their eyes fixed on equaling their tally to that of second placed Kenya Police.In other matches, Coast Stima will be seeking to drift further from the relegation zone when they play Gusii FC at Awendo Stadium. The powermen rank 17th with 39 points while Gusii are placed 12 with 43 points.The match will later pave way for the 14th placed Migori Youth who are scheduled to take on the tenth ranked newbies Mwatate United. Debutants Silibwet Leons who have survived the axe will play relegated side Soy United at the Bomet Stdaium.
