Nairobi City Star’s defender Edwin Buliba is happy after featuring in the just concluded FKFPL season for Simba wa Nairobi, in his league debut..The 24-year old defender made his debut in December against KCB when he came in as a substitute replacing an injured Aziz Okaka in a game that City Stars went ahead to lose by a solitary goal.Despite not featuring as much in the campaign, Buliba borrowed a couple of lessons from his teammates more so the players who are much more experienced than him.Buliba also pointed out that on top of working hard to earn a spot in the team, staying focused and patient helped him improve his game as well, adding that he is aiming for more in the coming campaign.“As a young player, I have learnt a lot this season from the experienced players. To get a place in the team it took a lot of hard work. Other than working hard, which is important, staying patient and staying focused has helped my game improve. That is not enough though and I need to do more and more and that’s what I’m aiming at,” Buliba told the club’s portal.DOUBLE SUBSTITUTIONNicholas Kipkirui OUTEdwin Buliba OUTEzekiel Odera INCalvin Masawa IN#𝕊𝕚𝕞𝕓𝕒𝕎𝕒ℕ𝕒𝕚𝕣𝕠𝕓𝕚— Official Nairobi City Stars Fc (@NrbCityStars) June 30, 2021 Buliba went ahead to add that although the season was a tough one, everyone at the club facilitated and worked to see it end smoothly. The utility defender who can slot in either right-back or center-back added that his biggest dream is to play abroad.“The season has been hard as it was faced with some challenges, but God has been great we managed to finish it.
