Prodigal son returns to Kakamega from Ethiopia

FKF Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz are set to re-sign midfielder Sunday Mutuku from Ethiopian side Sidama Bunna, Mozzart Sport can reliably report. Mutuku, who played for Homeboyz between 2016 and 2018 before moving to Ethiopia is currently unattached after he was axed by Bunna due to the reduction of the foreign quota in the Ethiopian league.The former Shabana FC midfielder is now set for a return to the side he is made his top-flight with ahead of the 2021/2022 season. He was a key player and skipper during his time at Homeboyz and could play in midfield or at the heart of defence when the need arises.Mozzart Sport has now learned that he is set for a sensational return to the Kakamega-based outfit.”Mutuku to Homeboyz is a done deal. He has basically agreed on everything with the club and he will sign his contract soon. He is experienced, versatile and he definitely makes the team stronger. Bonaventure Atse and Robert Arot have been axed as part of Homeboyz’s rebuilding program.
