I am still a Gor Mahia player, insists Okello

In an interesting turn of events, Gor Mahia forward Tito Okello maintains that he is focused on the new season with the club contrary to initial reports which suggested that he disgruntledly banged the door while on his way out.Okello was reportedly said to have ditched the financially limping club last month and returned to Uganda but the South Sudanese forward insists that he is still contracted to Gor and is looking forward to wearing the green robe in the new season.Okello joined K’ogalo last year from the Ugandan Premier League side Vipers and went on to establish himself as a reliable winger and a center forward at the club which had an underwhelming league title defense but consoled themselves with victory in the Football Kenya Federation Cup.South Sudanese striker, Tito Okello has announced that he will leave Gor Mahia at the end of the season. There were serious financial challenges in the concluded season but we managed to win the Cup. There are talks between my representatives and the club to resolve the impasse and the progress is good.
