New Ulinzi Stars forward eyes maiden Harambee Stars call-up

As he leaves Nzoia Sugar for Ulinzi Stars, striker Hillary Simiyu has set his eyes on scoring over 20 goals for his new club and in the process earn a call up to the national team, Harambee Stars. Simiyu leaves Nzoia six months after he joined the Bungoma-based side from Division One side, Bungoma SuperStars. He scored nine goals during the short period he was at the club and he now joins the military outfit.He says he is fully focused on finding the back of the net as many times as possible in order to earn a call up to the Ghost Mulee-led Stars.”I scored nine goals in the short period that I was with Nzoia and next season I want to score 20+ goals and I believe that I will get a call up to the National team. I am confident that if I perform well for my new team, I will earn a call-up to the national team” he stated.The forward expressed his gratitude to coach Ibrahim Shikanda for the role he played in shaping him since he landed at the club in March”I want to thank God for the far he has brought me.
