Hey, Jude: Liverpool eager to sign Bellingham in a Ksh 12,1 billion worth deal

For decades, the name Jude was probably most associated with Liverpool thanks to that 1968 ‘Beatles’ rock-ballad ”Hey, Jude” that was a major success and launched Lennon, McCartney and co into music stardom for good. But don’t be surprised if you hear it, or at least some parts of it as a chant, coming from LFC fans and the famous Kop as soon as next year. What seems to be much more than wishful thinking, Jurgen Klopp’s outfit is eager to sign a young Jude Bellingham, a prolific midfielder currently featuring for Klopp’s previous side, Borussia Dortmund.Liverpool’s famous Kop (©Matthew Ashton – AMA/Getty Images)According to several reports in the last hours, Liverpool have already decided to put at least Ksh 12,1 billion on the table for the talented kid, who grew up and blossomed in Birmingham’s youth setups before joining BVB in the summer of 2020.##EDITORS_CHOICE##In the meantime, Bellingham found his way to the Three Lions squad and seems like one of those pillars of Gareth Southgate’s team.##NAJAVA_MECA_5805408##Possible cooperation with Klopp could only do him good, although it’s the different level of pressure and expectance playing at Enfield or for – with all due respect – Dortmund, Germany’s eternal runners up.Bellingham and Haaland (©REUTERS/Leon Kuegeler)In any case, another report in The Times has indicated Dortmund will be unwilling to consider selling Bellingham until after the 2022 FIFA World Cup. In the meantime, they’ll probably be left without their top star Erling Braut Haaland, and it would be dreadful for the Germans to lose the two of their best players in a short period.
