Bandari part ways with trio ahead of new season

Bandari FC have further trimmed their squad ahead of 2021-2022 Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) following the release of Abdallah Sakania, Hamisi Mwinyi and Dan Guya.This comes a day after ending their association with Guelord Mwamba alias Yema Mwana who joined the club from Sony Sugar that rebranded to Gusii United back in 2017.Abdallah Sakania joined the joined back in 2018 after being promoted from the youth side and was shipped out on loan to Naivas FC the following year.After lengthy negotiations, we have decided to part ways with Daniel Omondi Guya on mutual consent. pic.twitter.com/GHtrT1mUXP— Bandari Football Club (@BandariOfficial) September 7, 2021 After ending his loan he stayed in the books of the club but failed to feature until his return to the senior side this season were he struggled for game time.Hamisi Mwinyi linked up with Bandari back in 2018 from Sony Sugar and had made a number of appearances but fell out of favour with head coach Andre Cassa Mbungo who joined the side back in January.Abdallah Sakania, Hamisi Mwinyi and Dan Guya all run down their contracts at the club and will be free agents at liberty to join any club. The club released official communication on Guya’s release noting that the player is seeking greener pastures and thanked him for his services.📄 | We have reached a mutual agreement with Guelord Mwamba also known as Yema Mwana, to terminate his contract.#MerciYema #AsanteYema pic.twitter.com/jMCAhThka2— Bandari Football Club (@BandariOfficial) September 7, 2021 “After lengthy negotiations, we have decided to part ways with Daniel Omondi Guya on mutual consent. Daniel joined us in 2017 from FC Talanta and has been a regular in our team. However, after constructive discussions between the player and the club, we have agreed to part ways as Guya seeks greener pastures in his career,”“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Guya for all the wonderful memories and service to this Club. We wish him and his family all the best in his future,” read the club’s statement.
