Depleted Gor Mahia have continued to rebuild their team ahead of the new season by acquiring the services of former Kariobangi Sharks winger, Peter Lwasa.The Ugandan terminated his contract with Sharks after the conclusion of the 2020/2021 Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) campaign and was rumoured to be heading back to Uganda. He has however opted to stay put in the country, by signing for Gor, his third Kenyan club. Several other teams like KCB wanted him but when Gor Mahia expressed interest in his services it was an easy decision for him to make because K’Ogalo is the biggest and most successful team in Kenya.
