In Nairobi, Neddy Atieno saved Ulinzi Starlets’ ship from sinking scoring twice in the second half to win the game for Ulinzi in a 3-2 outcome against Zetech Sparks. Lucy Mukhwana handed Ulinzi the lead early in the match, opening the scoring in the third minute but Winnie Gwatenda equalled the score for Sparks in the 39th minute. The military side were caught off-guard again in the additional minutes of the first half, Elizabeth Wanyonyi punishing them for their laxity to head to the break with a 2-1 advantage. The former won the match 5-3 (4-2 on penalties) to book a date with Vihiga in the semis. Gaspo were first on the scoreboard, Leah Andiema putting them ahead in the 33rd minute. They only held on the lead for three minutes as Patricia Anyango bagged her equaliser in the 36th minute for a stalemate in regulation play.”It was a tough match, an entertaining one too.
