New Ugandan signing Peter Lwasa has vowed to lessen the impact felt by the entire Gor Mahia faithful after the departure of creative midfielder Kenneth Muguna.Back in July this year, Muguna cut short his stay at K’Ogalo as he joined Tanzanian side Azam FC on a two-year deal. Before making the switch to the ice-cream makers, Muguna was the green army’s shining light in an otherwise bleak campaign that saw the record Kenyan champions finish in 8th position, a whooping twenty points behind champions Tusker. Already I have been given the jersey 10 which belonged to him. All I promise right now is that I will do even better to deliver for this big club,” the 23-year-old midfielder told Mozzart Sport.On his first official start for Gor in the FKF Super Cup, Lwasa showed glimpses of his brilliance with his visionary Muguna-esque through passes that time and again split open the Tusker defense.
