Relegated Vihiga to start life in second tier against Migori Youth

After failing to secure their top flight status, Vihiga United will start life in the National Super League for the third time against Migori Youth at the Mumias Sports Complex on the weekend of November 6-7. Vihiga were tossed out of the top flight by Kenya Police in the relegation/promotion playoff after finishing third from bottom in the past campaign.They will be joined by Zoo FC who start their second stint in the league with a tie against Kisumu All Stars at the Kericho Green Stadium. Zoo were dropped from the league by FIFA for their alleged involvement in match fixing. All Stars who graced the top flight in 2019 failed to gain promotion and will have to beef their squad having lost some of their key players who left in search for greener pastures.Debutants Naivas are penciled to start the season with a clash against Mully Children’s Family at the Ruaraka grounds. The club changed its name after ending its association with their shirt sponsor, The Kenya Power and Lighting Company.
