After the break, the visitors looked a more threatening proposition and they had the ball in the net just before the hour mark, however, the linesman’s flag was to cut their celebrations short.

Sweden went in search of a second and Isak looked particularly threatening and was showing no signs of rust, after recently returning from injury. Just after the hour mark, the Real Sociedad player danced through the defence with some extraordinary footwork but he was thwarted on two occasions by Arijanet Muric. Although, the 22-year-old son of Eritrean parents was not deterred and only moments later, Isak scored a wonderful goal, by cutting in from the left to unleash an unstoppable strike from outside the box.
