Kenya Police FC and Nairobi City Stars will be seeking their maiden point in the league this season when the two teams meet at Kasarani later today after they both lost in their opening matches to Kakamega Homeboyz and Sofapaka respectively.Police have added to their artillery in the close to three weeks that league action has been halted, with Clifton Miheso, John Mark Makwatta and Duncan Otieno being the high profile inclusions.City Stars on the other hand had one of the most silent transfers’ bringing in only Mike Madoya, Dennis Wanjala and Lennox Ogutu to add to their squad and Nicholas Muyoti will be seeking to open a points tally for his new club after being appointed to take charge.The meeting will be a historical one as the two teams have not met in the top flight and this will be their first-ever meeting though they have done so in the lower league.Nairobi City Stars CEO Patrick Korir says his team will be looking to turn around their season opener result”An unknown game completely but in the season that City Stars got promoted they did a double over Police and of course, they will want to continue from there. We even after a postponement but it was denied. I believe the three weeks we have rested have really given us time to look for new players and even train with them. I think it has helped us a lot.
