Mathare United skipper allays relegation fears

Despite starting the season on a sour note, Mathare United captain Chrispinus Oduor has assured that the team will shake off the rough patch and register positive results consistently.Mathare have lost their opening two matches against Bandari and former champions Ulinzi Stars and to add salt to their injuries, they are yet to celebrate a goal this season. The 2008 league champions who cheated relegation last season have had to rebuild their squad again following the exit of key pillars who were lured away by deep pocketed teams.Further, the management had to beef their technical bench after Frank Ouna and George Midenyo left at the end of last campaign. The two took over the reigns in February to replace Salim Ali.⚫ | 91′ Goal for Mathare.
