Former Wazito FC and Gor Maha defender Karim Nizigiyimana has rejoined Rwandese giants, Rayon Sports on a one-year deal, the club has announced.Also returning to the club is Jean Claude Iranzi. The midfielder rejoins the club after his loan spell with Egyptian club, Aswan came to an end. Kenya’s John Avire previously turned out for Aswan.The Burundian international returns to the Rwandese heavyweights for a second spell. He turned out for the team between 2011 and 2015 before he made a much-publicized move to Gor Mahia in 2015. Karim is best remembered for his spell with Gor Mahia. Injuries and lack of form saw his stay last for less than a year and has been in the cold ever since.Rayon Sports spokesperson Jean-Paul Nkurunziza has confirmed that the two have signed one-year deals. He also believes that their experience will be of great importance to their largely inexperienced squad.“They both have signed one-year deals and I hope they can bring experience to our relatively young side. We are trying to build a strong team to challenge on many fronts next season,” he stated.
