New Shark elated after marking debut with a brace

Having marked his Kariobangi Sharks debut with a brace, Felix Oluoch is hungering for more as he intends to guide the club to the podium after a three-year hiatus.Sharks plucked the forward from National Super League (NSL) side APS Bomet thanks to the impressive numbers he registered last season and he did not disappoint, hitting a double on his first match.Coach William Muluya trusted the burly forward to lead the attack line against debutants Vihiga Bullets whom they thumped 3-0 to maintain their one hundred per cent start to the season. ✍🏿| Felix Oluoch is the newest member of The Sharks family.🗞️| The clinical forward joins from NSL side APs Bomet FC.#WeAreSharks #BetwaySharks pic.twitter.com/toPSiBJssv— Kariobangi Sharks FC (@k_sharksfc) September 22, 2021 Muluya had to beef his forward line after losing Erick Kapaito who left for Ethiopia in search of greener pastures and consequently, the Harambee Stars assistant coach brought in Eric Mmata and Oluoch to fill in the void left by last season’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).Oluoch who will be facing stiff competition for playing time from Sydney Lokale managed double digits while in Bomet’s books and said the brace against Bullets will lay a solid base for him in his quest to reach the fifteen goal mark. The forward conceded that there was pressure to end the long wait for another major domestic title. The club won the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Cup in 2018, beating Sofapaka 3-2 in the final.⏸️| Half TimeA Felix Oluoch brace gives Sharks the advantage at the break in Bukhungu#BulletsVsSharks#FKFPL pic.twitter.com/ZVDDx3vlFF— FKF Premier League (@Officialfkfpl) October 20, 2021 “I was praying that I start life at the club with a win but ended up capping it with a brace. I am happy that I picked from where I left last season and I hope that I will continue scoring and help the club win titles this season. I feel the positive start will also go a long way in my quest to score at least fifteen goals this season,” he said.Oluoch is not new to top-flight football as he has previously featured for Posta Rangers, Nzoia Sugar and Chemelil Sugar.
