It showed that we have been working hard and were well prepared. Coming from two losses in which we had not gelled enough showed that there is progress in the team. I think moving forward we have something to play for,” Kago said. The former Tusker and Posta Rangers player was on target twice in the midweek clash, scoring Mathare’s first goal of the season and inspiring them to their first win of the season, a first win in the era of Ezekiel Akwana. We must accept FINITE disappointment, but we must never lose INFINITE hope.#believeandachieve pic.twitter.com/Ret6RfVXGy— DANSON KAGO (@razkago) October 23, 2021 Kago said that he was impressed after netting the two goals after a long time without finding the net, adding that he was looking forward to scoring more goals and helping the team achieve more this season.”I was impressed with the two goals. It had been long overdue before I scored but I was impressed not only by the goals but by the performance and the team spirit. Our preparation was fine and it bore fruits. I am looking forward to playing Nzoia away. As a player, I want to score more goals for the team and help the team achieve more this season,” he added.HT: Sofapaka FC 0-2 Mathare United Danson Kago (13′, 16′)#SofapakaVsMathare— Mathare United FC (@MathareUtd) October 20, 2021 Mathare United will play Nzoia Sugar in their round four FKFPL clash at Sudi Stadium, Bungoma, and will be looking forward to adding to their win tally against a Nzoia team that has not yet won a match this season.
