Juma happy with Fortune Sacco progress

Veteran tactician Juma Abdallah is happy with the progress National Super League (NSL) side Fortune Sacco has been making since he took charge of their pre-season.The immediate former Western Stima coach has been with Fortune for the last couple of weeks where he conducted trials, signed players, and has been in charge of the team’s pre-season in readiness for the 2021/22 NSL campaign that starts at the beginning of November. In an interview, the experienced gaffer said he is impressed by what he is seeing in training. He added that he has been trying to instill his philosophy in the players.”We have been having some really good sessions and getting the players to understand how I want them to play and I can say that so far we have made some progress and it is now a matter of fine-tuning the team before our first game of the season on 6th November,” he told Mozzart Sport.Fortune lost four key players who were part of the team last season. Ziyad Kiwanuka and Vincent Owino moved to FC Talanta while John Mabia and Robert Mutinda moved to Murang’a Seal but Juma says they have successfully replaced the quartet.Proud of my home team Murang’a Seal its matchday today against @fortunesaccofc …The only team to have FIFA accredited pitch in Kenya pic.twitter.com/LPi5fIF3ry— jαнмeel🐺 (@jahmeel_) August 29, 2021 “We lost around four players and I think we have replaced them with players of the same quality if not better and I can say that I am contented with the team that we have at the moment and we have to keep working in training to ensure that we are fully ready to compete,” he added.Despite being fully in charge of Fortune, Juma is yet to be offered a contract but the tactician is not bothered as he believes that the issue will be ironed out in due course.”We will conclude everything before the season starts, that’s not a major problem. The management trusts me and I trust them so we will iron the few contractual issues soon,” he concluded.Fortune begin the 2021/22 campaign with a match against Mwatate United.##EDITORS_CHOICE##
