Bidco,Nzoia battle in search for maiden wins of the season

Bidco United will be hoping to capitalize on home advantage and bag their maiden win of the season when they host a struggling Nzoia Sugar at Thika Stadium on Saturday. Bidco have invited pressure on their side after failing to celebrate a win in their opening four rounds of the season as they have shared spoils twice and lost a similar number of matches. They welcome an equally win-less side who have drawn once and lost thrice hoping that the support from their Thika based fans will motivate them to end their wait for their first win.📸 | The Grind#Ready4Whatever pic.twitter.com/n17iamTOAU— Bidco United (@BidcoUnited) October 5, 2021 Coach Anthony Akhulia hinted of ringing changes in his defence line as he seeks to seal the loopholes that have seen them leak six goals in four matches. The youthful tactician also revealed his intentions of changing his forward line that has been why in front of the goal as the club has managed three goals this season. “The poor start concerns me a lot but I hope the changes I intend to make in the defence and forward departments will bring forth three points. The way the team has been defending and attacking has not been impressive thus the changes,” he said.📸 | The Gaffer#Ready4Whatever pic.twitter.com/A2PsZoJ3iw— Bidco United (@BidcoUnited) October 3, 2021  Nzoia on the other hand have seemingly been feeling the gaps left by some of their players who left the club in search for better packages. Ibrahim Shikanda’s charges have scored a paltry two goals this season and at the same time conceded six, performance that has left them in the red zone. The club’s goalkeeper Benson Mangala who admitted that the playing unit was not motivated said they will give their best and at least get their first win of the season.Nzoia Sugar take on Bidco United this Saturday at Thika Stadium. #sweeteningkenyanfootball. @Officialfkfpl @BidcoUnited @Nzoiasugar @ElvisMukhwana pic.twitter.com/Ev3Ywj8s3c— NZOIASUGARFC (@nzoiasugarfc2) October 29, 2021 “We are trying hard to halt the poor run despite the challenges the club is facing. We played well in our past matches but didn’t have the luck to win especially the home fixtures. If we take our chances then we will fry Bidco and return home with the three points, ” he said.
