Marcelo lands in Swedish team of the week after super assist

Harambee Stars left back Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma has once again landed himself in the Swedish top tier Team of the Week after helping his AIK side return to winning ways as they ended their two match losing streak with a 3-0 victory over Ostersunds. In the match played on Sunday at the Friends Arena Stadium, Marcelo set his team on their way to victory as he created the first goal with some brilliant display of a solo effort. From a throw-in deep into the opponent’s territory, Marcelo filthily took out three of his markers with some clever dribbling and on point body balance before slipping the ball to Nicolas Marcelo Stefanelli who had the easiest of finishes after all the hard work had been done by the Kenyan. How good was this assist from our very own Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma!🤩The dribbling, the body balance, the cutback *chef’s kiss* 🤌🏿 pic.twitter.com/daVK0CCS9A— Mozzart Sport Kenya (@MozzartSportKe) November 8, 2021 That opening goal would set the foundation of the victory as Zachary Elbouzedi and Nabil Bahoui struck in the second half to seal the three points and a return to winning ways, a victory that lifted AIK back to third place on the log with 50 points just four behind leading Malmo. The group is topped by Mali who are on ten points followed by Uganda with eight points. Rwanda trail the group with a single point.
