Bobby Ogolla allays conflict of interest fears after FKF Committee appointment

Following his appointment in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Caretaker Committee, Bobby Ogolla who also doubles up as the Kenya Police FC head coach has allayed fears of conflict of interest with his two jobs. Sports Cabinet Secretary Amb. Amina Mohamed on Thursday appointed a Caretaker Committee to govern football in the country for a period of six months after FKF was disbanded.🚨JUST IN🚨Here is the entire list of the FKF caretaker committee formed by Sports CS Amina Mohamed. What’s your opinion on the committee? #FFP pic.twitter.com/AY4oXgG1o3— Friends of Football (@friendsofutball) November 11, 2021 Ogolla noted that he will make equal time for Kenya Police and the Committee and will not favour his side with decisions made in the Committee especially touching on officiating. “I don’t see any problem with that, training has its own time and the committee’s meeting will have its own time,”“Even if I was not appointed in the committee, when I sit on the Police bench I have never had a scuffle with any referee. I’m not alone in the committee but let us wait and see how things pan out,” said Ogolla. The former Gor Mahia assistant coach was part of the 15-man Committee alongside General (Rtd) Moses Oyugi, Fatma Adan, Philip Musyimi Mue, Anthony L. Isayi, Elisha Chepchieng Kiplagat, Hassan Mahmoud Haji, Fredrick Tureisa Lekesike and Mwangi Muthee, Neddy Atieno, J.J Masiga, Richard Omwela, Titus Kasuve, and Ali Amour.https://t.co/62VsWxEQTW @AMB_A_Mohammed @JoeOkudo @HonSKachapin— Ministry Of Sports, Culture & Heritage (@moscakenya) November 11, 2021 The Committee’s secretariat will be led by Linda Oguttu, will be assisted by Michael Mucheni (Secretary), Lorine Nerea Shitubi (Joint Secretary), Caesar Handa, Habo Mwachiro, Edward Rombo, Hiba Hussein, Gabriel Warigi, Dr Walter Ongeti, Rashid Khamisi Ali Shedu, Hon.
